         Andrew Horowitz

My name is Andrew Horowitz and I live in Mansfield with my parents Mark and Cathi, my younger brother Ben and my dog Buttercup. My hobbies include baseball, golf, skiing, drawing and travel, and my favorite subjects in school have been geography, math and history.

I am very much looking forward to attending Bishop Feehan High School.  During my high school and/or college years, I hope to be able to travel abroad to pursue my interests in geography, the French language and art.  While at BFHS I also hope to play for the golf and baseball teams, participate in clubs such as the math team and become involved in community service projects to help others.  When I grow up, it is my dream to have a career in baseball.  If this doesn’t come to be, I would be excited to be in a field involving math, technology and art. I know that if I try my best and keep faith in God, anything is possible.

Emma Salachi

I am a resident of Mansfield and graduate of St. Mary’s Catholic School and a member of the first class to attend the school for the first nine years of its existence. Many of my friends will also be attending Feehan and I am looking forward to spending four more years with them.

I am the daughter of Elaine and Alex Salachi, the sister of Adam Salachi, and the granddaughter of Irene Kaleta and Christina Salachi, all of Mansfield. I enjoy spending time with my immediate family as well as my large extended family, especially during the holiday season.

I love to play sports and have been a member of youth and school teams in basketball, softball, and volleyball. I plan on trying out for these sports teams at Feehan.

I enjoy traveling with my family and in recent years have spent time in California, Florida, Montreal, Niagara Falls, New York City, and Washington, DC. I especially enjoyed visiting various museums in Washington DC, including the National Gallery of Art.

My main hobby is my interest in art, and I enjoy fashion design. While in the fashion district of New York City, I enjoyed visiting Mood, the fabric store featured on one of my favorite TV shows, “Project Runway.”

My main focus now is preparing for the academic, athletic, and spiritual programs at Bishop Feehan High School.

        Rachel Ware

My name is Rachel Ware. I am 14 years old and have lived nearly my entire life in Attleboro, Massachusetts. I live with my mom and dad, my older brother Andrew, and my younger sister Brenna. I started school at Dayspring Christian Academy, then transferred to Foxborough Regional Charter School (FRCS) in 3rd grade. This past year, I finished at FRCS by completing 8th grade.

I have played with the Bays youth soccer travel league, as well as the twirling team at FRCS. Also, I have studied piano, painting, and pottery. I enjoy using my creativity to help others, through my church’s nursery and prison outreach program. At Bishop Feehan, I am scheduled to take Foundations in Art for my full freshman year, and I also hope to become a member of the swim team. This past year, I attended a competitive swim class and discovered how much I enjoy the sport. This past summer, I was glad to have had the opportunity to attend the Bishop Feehan Summer Academy, as it has been both fun and a good way to meet some new friends.

I enjoy painting, shopping, hanging out with friends, listening to music, and playing with my German Short Haired Pointer, Mollie. I am a huge animal lover, with a special love for dogs. Recently, I created a small art studio in my home, where I spend much of my free time. One of my favorite habits is to listen to music, whenever I am drawing or painting. I find that music helps me feel more deeply – whether sadness, happiness, or even calmness – it seems to increase my creativity and energy.
